I hang around a lot of toenail fungus Internet message boards, and I always see people asking if the popular vicks vapor rub can cure nail fungal infections. It's absurd. I don't know where people are getting this crap from... but vicks vapor rub DOES NOT cure fungus infections. It's a product that works to clear up cold and flu symptoms, for crying out loud! Nowhere on their official website does it say... "will also combat toenail fungus infections."
I don't know who's spouting this rubbish, but don't believe it. The person may have suffered from a nail fungus infection, and quite weirdly, he may have decided to apply vicks vapor rub to his nails. But who's to say that actually cured it? It may have just went away because he or she improved their personal hygiene. Anyway, don't believe it. Vicks Vapor rub combats cold and flue symptoms, NOT nail fungus infections.
If you want to find a product that will combat your toenail fungus infection, then take a look at products that contain the effective tea tree oil solution. That stuff is extremely effective in elimination fungal infections. There are hundreds of products out there on the market today, that contain the oil. So, purchase one, and apply it as directed and watch your fungal infection disappear within a week or so.
OR if you really want to banish your toenail fungus infection REALLY QUICKLY, find a product that contains sulphur X12. This ingredient banishes a fungal infection in just a few days, some people have reported to work in a matter of hours. There are a couple of products out there that contain this powerful ingredient. So, browse your local drug stores and have a look, or have a quick look on the Internet.
In fact, we believe that a certain home remedy works better than the majority of treatments out there. The home remedy we speak of is the vinegar method. Again, if you’re suffering from a nail fungus infection, then you’ve probably tried the vinegar method. And it obviously didn’t work for you; otherwise you wouldn’t be reading this review. The problem with the vinegar remedy is that it only treats mild cases of the infection. The solution isn’t powerful enough to treat more severe cases.
